  • "The anti-Pfs230 antisera clearly reacted with the gametocyte and gamete surface membrane, and showed no reaction with osmiophilic bodies (Fig. 6), making it unlikely that the reaction of the anti-Pfg377 antisera with osmiophilic bodies was due to a cross-reactive epitope generated by the N-terminal Met(His)6 and thrombin cleavage site present in the A2 and B subfragments."
