  • "Absence of MSP7 does not alter expression and distribution of several other peripheral merozoite surface proteins. In addition to MSP7, several other proteins have been reported to interact with the MSP1 complex through protein-protein interactions. We investigated expression and distribution of MSP3, MSP6, and MSP9 (ABRA) and a parasitophorous vacuolar protein, SERA-5, in order to examine the consequence of altering the nature of the MSP1 complex."
