  • "MSP8 was also detected in the ring-stages and by immunofluorescence assay (IFA) it was found to localise to the parasitophorous vacuole (PV), where it is possibly anchored to the parasite membrane via its GPI-anchor, especially given that it co-localises with MSP119 at this time. By schizont stages, however, MSP8 was present in the food vacuole"
