endoplasmic reticulum
  • "As shown in Fig. 2A, GFP fluorescence superimposed on anti-SET signal while it did not overlap with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) marker Bip."
  • Microscopy type: Light
  • Microscopy method: polyclonal antibody directly to protein
  • Strain: ANKA
  • Gene model mapping comments: blast from homologue PFI0875w
  • Localisation record: ER
  • Other genes localised in this publication: nucleosome assembly protein, 25 kDa ookinete surface antigen precursor

endoplasmic reticulum and nuclear membrane and not erythrocyte cytoplasm and not erythrocyte plasma membrane during hepatic
  • "Antibodies against Pfhsp reacted with nuclei and cytoplasmic regions, whereas anti-Pfgrp antibodies were localized in the perinuclear membranes and in the membranous regions reminiscent of endoplasmic reticulumlike structures in the parasites. Unlike the immunofluorescence results of Renia et al. (1990), no apparent reactivity of antibodies against Pfhsp and Pfgrp was observed in the host-cell cytoplasm or on the surface of infected hepatocytes."
  • Microscopy type: EM
  • Microscopy method: polyclonal antibody to homologue
  • Strain: ANKA
  • Gene model mapping comments: inferred from another publication
  • Localisation record: nuclear membrane and ER and not RBC cytoplasm and not RBC membrane during hepatocyte
  • Other genes localised in this publication: heat shock protein, putative
